This Privacy Policy explains how TextFit ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information through the TextFit mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

TextFit is a product by 01 Apps, registration number 307473546, of Pilėnų g. 45A-1, LT-36237 Panevėžys, Lithuania. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@textfit.app.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Your account

TextFit doesn't ask for a name, email, or password to get started. On first launch, the app creates an anonymous account identified by a random key stored securely on your device. That key is what lets a reinstall recover your same account and workout history — we never see it as personal information, and no sign-up is required.

2.2 Workouts and training text you create

When you describe a workout in your own words, that text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to convert it into a structured workout, and both the text you wrote and the result are stored in our database, linked to your account, so you can view and re-use your history. We never use this text for advertising, and it's permanently deleted if you delete your account.

2.3 Connecting intervals.icu (optional)

If you choose to connect an intervals.icu account, we store an encrypted access token and your athlete display name, and request permission to read your wellness data and completed activities and write workouts to your calendar. We use this solely to push your TextFit workouts to intervals.icu and to check which ones you've completed. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, and disconnecting revokes our access to your intervals.icu account.

2.4 Apple Health data (optional, iOS only)

If you allow it, TextFit reads your Apple Health workout history to check whether you completed a scheduled workout — for example, one you did directly on Apple Watch. This check happens on your device: TextFit only reads the type and date of past workouts it needs to compare, and does not read any other Health data (like heart rate, sleep, or body measurements). We do not use Health data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with data brokers, in accordance with Apple's guidelines.

2.5 Scheduling to Apple Watch

When you send a workout to Apple Watch, TextFit uses Apple's WorkoutKit to schedule it directly on your watch. This doesn't send your workout data to us or to Apple beyond what the operating system needs to display it on your watch.

2.6 Subscription and payment

TextFit Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details — Apple or Google handle billing directly. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, which shares your purchase status (not your payment information) with us so we can unlock Pro features.

2.7 Usage and diagnostic data

We use Mixpanel to understand how the app is used (e.g. which screens you visit, whether you connected intervals.icu, your device platform) and Sentry to capture crash reports and errors so we can fix bugs. These tools receive an internal, randomly generated account ID — never your training text or AI prompts, and never your Apple Health data. If you connect intervals.icu, your athlete display name may also be included in your analytics profile.

2.8 This website

If you submit the "notify me" form on this website, we collect the email address you provide. Our email provider, MailerLite, may also record basic technical details such as your IP address and the date and time you subscribed, as a record of your consent.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• generate structured workouts from the text you write;
• sync your workouts with intervals.icu and Apple Watch, when connected;
• detect when you've completed a workout;
• process and manage your subscription;
• understand usage patterns and diagnose problems;
• send you launch news and product updates, if you asked for them.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we process your information on these bases:

• Contract — processing your workouts, intervals.icu connection, and subscription is necessary to provide the Service you've requested;
• Consent — connecting intervals.icu, granting Apple Health access, and subscribing to our email list are all opt-in and can be withdrawn at any time;
• Legitimate interest — diagnostic and usage data helps us keep the Service reliable and improve it, in a way that doesn't override your privacy rights.

5. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run TextFit:

• OpenAI — converts your training text into a structured workout;
• intervals.icu — only if you connect your account, to sync workouts and completion data;
• Apple (HealthKit, WorkoutKit, App Store) and Google Play — to schedule watch workouts, check completion, and process subscriptions and payments;
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status across app stores;
• Mixpanel — product analytics;
• Sentry — crash and error reporting;
• Railway — hosts our backend and database;
• MailerLite — stores our website subscriber list.

Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We don't share your information with anyone else, except where required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your workouts, training text, and account data for as long as your account exists. Deleting a workout in the app removes it immediately. Deleting your account (see below) permanently removes your workouts, training text, intervals.icu connection, and subscription record from our database. Website subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

7. International data transfers

Our service providers (including OpenAI, Mixpanel, Sentry, Railway, and Apple/Google) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect data transferred this way.

8. Children's privacy

TextFit is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@textfit.app. If you're in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your workouts, training text, subscription record, and intervals.icu connection details from our systems. Deleting your account does not automatically revoke access on intervals.icu's side — if you'd like to fully disconnect there too, remove TextFit from your connected apps in your intervals.icu account settings.

11. Security

We encrypt sensitive data such as your intervals.icu access token at rest, and use industry-standard practices to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app.
